Share Videos of Your Children's Day With Parents
A song, a first step, the moment a tower of blocks finally stays up — some daycare moments don't fit in a photo. Video activities are now live in KidzLog, so teachers can share the whole thing with parents the moment it happens.
What's new
Post videos to any child's activity feed. Pick a child, hit Create Activity, pick Video, and upload a clip — or, on a phone or tablet, tap Record Video to capture one in the moment.

No time limit on length. Capture the whole song, the whole story, the whole first step. Centers can add a duration cap later as a setting if they need one, but the default is no limit.
Up to 300MB per video. Plenty of headroom for a couple of minutes of HD phone footage. The cap is the same on every plan — no upgrade gate.
Multiple videos per activity. Three angles of the same morning, or two clips from different parts of the day, all attached to a single post.
Parents can save videos straight from the browser. Right-click > Save Video As keeps a copy on their device. No app install required.
How it shows up in the feed
Videos play right in the activity card with the normal mute, scrub, and fullscreen controls. The feed only loads the videos you've actually scrolled to, so a card with five clips doesn't bog down an older tablet in the classroom.
Two more details worth knowing:
- Every upload is checked to confirm it's really a video, so nothing surprising ends up in a parent's feed.
- Files that are too big get rejected up-front, so teachers aren't watching a progress bar fill up only to lose it at the end.
