We use PostHog to analyze user behavior and improve our product and services. PostHog collects information about how you use our product, such as pages visited, actions taken, and interactions with our product. PostHog may also record session replays to help us understand how users navigate our product and identify areas for improvement. PostHog is the only session-replay tool that runs inside the KidzLog product, and the controls below apply to it. Google Analytics runs inside the product on the sign-in and sign-up pages only.
Privacy Controls for Session Replay: To protect your privacy and comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), we have implemented strict privacy controls for session recordings:
- All form input values are masked (replaced with asterisks) in recordings
- Child names, parent names, and contact details are masked in recordings
- Medical, allergy, immunization, and health information text is masked
- Activity logs and notes containing personal details are masked
- All images, photos, and avatars are blocked entirely from session replays
